Wahoo Backpack Program

The Wahoo Backpack program provides snacks/meals for the weekend to children in homes less fortunate. This is where the volunteers come in, helping put together approximately 100 bags with food items. Typically it takes 30 minutes (depending on the number of volunteers) one night during the week with an additional 1-2 individuals to deliver the packages to the schools on or before Friday of that same week. The date to pack will be Wednesday, January 15th from 5:15-5:45 pm at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Wahoo (6 volunteers needed). The delivery of the backpacks will take place prior to Friday, January 17th, before 8 am (2 volunteers needed). Please coordinate with Allison Koranda.
