Wahoo Backpack Program

The Wahoo Backpack program provides snacks/meals for the weekend to children in homes less fortunate. This is where the volunteers come in, helping put together 130 bags with food items. Typically it takes 1-2 hours (depending on the number of volunteers) one night during the week with an additional 1-2 individuals to deliver the packages to the schools on Friday of that same week. The date to pack will be Wednesday, November 15th from 6-9pm at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Wahoo (6 volunteers needed). The delivery of the backpacks will take place Friday, November 17th before 10am (2 volunteers needed). Please coordinate with Allison Koranda.
