All Day Marching Competition

Saturday, Oct. 28th
4am-Leave as soon as we are loaded. It should be quick since we loaded on Friday after school.
7am (or sooner) Arrive at UO
-Offload
-Eat a snack, it needs to be quick we don't have time to sit and eat etc,.
7:30am-Uniforms
7:45am-Feet/Choreo Warm
8:10-Walk-time to warm-up area
8:20-Music Warm up
8:50-Walk-time to props/gate area
9:00-Go to corresponding props, disperse wrenches to on field props students. Put them in order to navigate tunnel into Autzen.
9:13-Gate/Tunnel-Everyone ready to go through.
9:26-Prelims Performance
9:45-10:30 Decompress, change out of unifoms
11:30 ish-Lunch
12:30-4:30pm-Watch Band in Autzen Stadium
4:45pm-Preliminary Awards

*Finals tbd-We have to win our division in order to perform in finals!

*If we don't win, we will most likely stay for the rest of the evening! I asked students to decide, and so far the consensus is they want to stay, but we'll ask tomorrow night at the game!

6pm-10pm-Eat Dinner, Break down compound, watch bands!

10pm-Final awards ceremony!

1:00am-Return to Hilhi/EVERYONE HELP OFFLOAD EQUIPMENT

Pit Crew
Vidal Celino will be the Pit Crew lead this year. Contact Vidal at 503-484-7131. He will be available to provide direction to folks who are unfamiliar with what needs to be done. Pit will be responsible for helping move the front ensemble, drum major stands, mic & stand, and possibly the props during the preliminary and final performances at each band event. During the awards that follow the prelim performance, we will find out what time we play in the finals. Once we have that time, Vidal will make an announcement as to when to meet back at the compound to move Pit for the finals performance.
