During communion, the church has members of the congregation pass out the communion elements - the plates of bread and the juice. Confirmation participants can sign up for this either alone or with their mentor. The congregation loves when you are present in worship, and those who have done this in the past see communion in a new way. This weekend is World Communion Sunday, when churches across the globe celebrate communion all on the same day to express our unity across all the kinds of Christian diversity.
