Friday Bingo is an important fundraiser supporting the students and programs of St. Bernard School. Volunteers must arrive on time, check in, remain for the entire five-hour shift, and complete all assigned responsibilities.
Each St. Bernard School family is required to complete 15 Bingo volunteer hours between August 2, 2026, and July 31, 2027. Families fulfill this requirement by completing three five-hour Bingo shifts.
Volunteers must focus on their assigned responsibilities and refrain from using cellphones except in an emergency.
A missed Bingo session will result in a $150 no-show fee. Missed sessions cannot be rescheduled or made up.
Families may select the $450 Bingo Buyout Option, which fulfills the entire 15-hour Bingo volunteer requirement and is equivalent to all three required sessions.
Volunteers will bundle, label, count, verify, and organize Bingo games using the provided checklist. Volunteers must work carefully and follow all instructions to prevent inventory errors.
Volunteer assignments will include:
3 sellers
1 seller assistant
1 player-support volunteer
1 inventory-control volunteer
1 cleaning and closing volunteer
During the event, all volunteers must be prepared to assist wherever needed. Assignments may change throughout the evening based on the needs of the Bingo fundraiser.
