Start the new year off right by giving back to the trails you love. Join us at Erwin Park for our first volunteer trail workday of the year as we kick off a new season of building, repairing, and improving the trail system.

Work Agenda:

Setting stone and concrete blocks for the Skills Area Hub construction

Trail surface repairs in high-traffic and drainage-impacted areas

Trail improvements on the new “Shroomy Berm” section on the south side, including shaping, drainage work, and tread reinforcement

Litter pickup along the trails

General cleanup around the Skills Area

Whether your New Year’s resolution is to ride more, give back more, or get more involved in the community, this is a great way to start the year. No experience is necessary — just bring gloves, water, and a good attitude. Tools and instruction will be provided.

Volunteer hours from this event go toward annual trail support totals and help support ongoing trail improvements through Dallas Off-Road Bicycle Association.
