Resource Center Assistants

The Resource Center is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 am - 1 pm. During resource hours unsheltered members of the community can get assistance with replacing ID's, Birth Certificates, SS Cards, they can also receive referrals for essential services, employment, mental health and medical care, they can receive a hot meal, wash laundry, shower, shop for clothing, shoes & hygiene items, access the computer lab, attend Bible study and craft classes, and more.
Size and hang clothing as needed - the times are flexible between 9 am & 1 pm
Each participant can take a 20 minute shower, The shower monitor keeps track of the participants requesting a shower, maintains the time limits, restocks bathroom supplies as needed.
You will monitor the cafe supplies, promptly restocking as needed and cleaning spills and answering questions. You will also keep track of those wanting to wash laundry that day, starting each load and ensuring the washer and dryer are used appropriately.
Restock shopping area as needed - the times are flexible between 9 am & 1 pm
Clean all areas of the resource center and shelter - bathrooms, sweep and mop, take out trash -
Wash, dry & Fold towels from the showers and linens from the shelter
