Peli Con

Peli Con was Pointe Coupee parish's only event of its kind, which was founded on April 29th 2023. The event was hosted by Cory Daigrepont owner of Marvelous Comic Closet a Batchelor, LA native, Corey Bardsley a Walker, LA native, Clifton Johnston owner of C4 Entertainment a Pineville, LA native and his wife Tracy Johnston owner of The Mad Macaron a native of Innis, LA. The goal was to introduce the con world of entertainment to the New Roads and Louisiana areas, by bringing a community made up of collectors together for one event. Collectors range cards, comic books, manga, video games, anime and more. Comic cons or events similarly normally generate a huge crowd of attendees and participants.
