Bluff SchuetzenFest celebrates its fifth annual beer and heritage celebration on Saturday, May 16, from 12:00-7:00!
As a volunteer, you are essential to making this run smoothly and with the most joy to our guests. You also support raising funds for education and preservation of Kreische Brewery & Monument Hill State Historic Sites.
Volunteer benefits include:

Volunteers should plan to arrive approximately 30 minutes before the start of the posted shift. Volunteers may sign up for multiple shifts so long as they don't overlap. For questions or concerns, please contact Jenny at jennifer.townzen@thc.texas.gov or (979) 968-5658.
Assist with setup, registration, course guidance, and runner support.

Direct and orient volunteers and partners when they arrive. Located at the laser shooting gallery fence opening.

Help with set up, handing out wristbands and tasting cups, orienting visitors to the festivities, and providing directions.

Help brewers serve beer to festival-goers (TABC training strongly encouraged). Please plan to stay until 3:45 to transition the new servers.
Inform festival-goers of current and scheduled programs, encourage groups to explore the sites and see what it has to offer.

Monitor the playspace for safety and engage with children through crafts and games.
Ensure volunteers, brewers and partners are hydrated, monitor the hospitality room, inform event staff if there are any issues.

Assist with technical and general help for presentations and performances at the Kreische Barn Stage

Assist in serving beer tastings to participants in the special beer tasting by Ruvani de Silva at the Kreische Barn Stage (TABC Certification strongly encouraged)
