5th Grade Halloween Party
Friday, October 30 2026
Help us get ready for a frightfully fun Halloween celebration! Our 5th Grade Halloween Class Party will be filled with spooky excitement, festive games, creative activities, tasty treats, and plenty of Halloween spirit!
Setup will start around 12:15 and students will be in the classroom at 12:30. We get to party until 1:45 then get cleaned up. Please note that there are 19 students in the class.
We have about 80 minutes to fit it all in so everything is subject to how things go once we get started!
The stations/activities that we're currently planning to have (lots of flexibility here) include:
- Trivia
- Mystery Challenge
> They will stick their hands into a covered box and identify "brains": spaghetti, "eyeballs": peeled grapes, etc.
- Craft
> To be determined
- Snack
> Trying to steer away from too much sugar: popcorn, cheese, fruit, etc. (and of course some small sweet treat!)
- Halloween Dance/Freeze Dance
> play spooky music and when it stops, they pose as a monster, zombie, witch, toad...
- Bingo
If you have any ideas that you'd like to include, we'd love to hear it!
Popcorn/fruit/cheese/Cookie:cupcake:donut
Glow sticks/bouncy balls/stickers/temp tattoos
Cooked spaghetti/peeled grapes/gummy worms/cornsilk (witch's hair)
If you choose this, you're probably crafty. What's your idea?
painting pumpkin/ghost rocks, build a Halloween keychain, beaded bracelet...
Water/juice
plates/napkins
