Come help us set up our Field of Remembrance on the north field at school. Arrive by 3:25 pm and park, then meet in the field. Be sure to sign in and get directions. We encourage families to bring their teens with them to help. We hope students will gain a deeper understanding of what happened on 9/11 as they hear the stories and reflections of that day from the parents who are also helping to put flags in the display. STUDENTS MUST have a parent at the event to stay after and help! (Carpool groups can stay as long as the students work WITH the driver/adult). No unaccompanied students are allowed at this event.  We should finish before 5:30 pm.

STUDENTS who will be staying will report to the CAFE' at dismissal. We will have cookies and snacks for them while the carline clears. STUDENTS will be joining us in the field at the 3:30 pm start time.

Don't forget to log your hours after you volunteer:

    *TO LOG YOUR HOURS AFTER YOUR SHIFT: (You will receive these instructions in your confirmation email as well)

1. Take a selfie while volunteering at school!

2. Make a note of the time you started/finished your volunteer shift

3. Log in to your TRACK IT FORWARD account

4. Usually the Hour Log screen opens up first in the app

5. Otherwise, use the menu to go to the "Hour Log"

6. If present, click the blue "Prefill from an event" link (this is usually just available for on-campus opportunites)

7. Choose the "shift" you are reporting

8. Enter the hours you were at school for that shift

9. The date is already filled out - verify it matches the day you were at school

10. For activity, choose "On Campus Volunteering"

11. Notes: Add a note of who you worked with or who you checked in with

12. Click Associated event (again) and choose from drop down

13. Click "ADD VERIFICATIONS" - you can add organizer if needed (or to identify donations through teams or clubs)

14. Verifications: Selfie - you can upload your picture here of you volunteering :-)

15. Hit Submit. From here the submission will go to the organizer for approval. You should see your hours logged in your account as "pending approval". Once approved, they will show on your total!
