West Shore Jr/Sr High

The West Shore Open House is coming soon and we have a parent volunteer opportunity to support everyone visiting campus. 

 
We are looking for 20 volunteers to serve as greeters and direction helpers during the Open House evening. 

Before you sign up up, please consider:

 - You need to attend a training meeting starting promptly at 5:30PM on Sep 9 in the Gym (if you can't be there by 5:30, please do not sign up)

- You will not be able to walk your child's schedule/attend the classroom sessions but will be present for the general session in the Gymnasium

- You should be comfortable speaking with others and offering directional help around the school campus (you will be provided a map and schedule)

- Please wear a plain, dark colored shirt (navy or black preferred). You may want to bring an umbrella and wear the right shoes it historically rains on Open House night - fingers crossed for dry weather this year.

- You will earn 4 parent volunteer hours for this service.  Arrival time is 5:30pm and you are free to go at the conclusion of Open House after returning your matierials to PTA. Hours will be logged for you after you check in and check out with PTA on Sep 9.

If you sign up and your plans change, please cancel your shift to allow others to volunteer.
