America250

Saturday, April 11 2026

On behalf of Ashland Middle School and our community, we respectfully invite you to attend Heritage on the River: Ashland’s Role in America 250, a special celebration honoring our city’s contributions to the history and future of our nation.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Ashland Middle School. This day-long celebration is part of the nationwide commemoration of the United States Semiquincentennial, marking 250 years since the founding of the United States.

Heritage on the River is a student-centered and community-driven event featuring historical exhibits, performances, and interactive experiences that highlight Ashland’s role in shaping Kentucky and our country. Our students have worked diligently to research, prepare, and present the rich heritage of our region.
