Please sign in at the volunteer station upon arrival and check in with the front desk or shift lead. When checking in, be sure to keep track of any special events, private groups, etc. to anticipate for the day; as well as offerings we have to provide that day to inform our guests.
Information Booth volunteers assist in greeting all visitors to Ocean Institute. Volunteers direct and manage flow of multiple groups to ensure a timely and safe welcome. During public program hours, you will check in members or those with pre-purchased tickets, and provide information about the offerings. These shifts are only available during gift shop hours (9:30 am - 3:00 pm).
