Little Elm Area Food Bank

We are in need of a volunteer or volunteer(s) to pick up donations from our Tom Thumb partner store. The Tom Thumb is located at 745 Cross Timbers Rd, Flower Mound, TX 75028. You will pull around to the back of the store and load shopping carts of donated items into your vehicle and drive them back to the Food Bank. We are working with a woman who is picking up for some seniors. We will be taking whatever items she does not want/need.

Pick-ups need to happen around 8 a.m. When you sign up, we will forward you the information on the lady we are working with so you can coordinate the pick-up time with her. After picking the items, you will bring them to the Food Bank. We will have volunteers available to help unload and weigh the items.

A midsize SUV or larger should be sufficient for this volunteer pick-up opportunity. (Items are loaded into crates, so being able to lay seats down is helpful.)

If you are interested in signing up but have questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us. ([email protected])
