Morcom Rose Garden - Beautifying the Garden on MLK Day of Service 2016

In January 18th, 2016, the Bay Area will once again celebrate the life of Dr. King while working together to bring a positive change.
Hundreds of volunteers will join City of Oakland, City of Oakland Public Works, City Council Members, AmeriCorps and many local organizations for the Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 18, at various sites located throughout Oakland and the East Bay.
At Morcom Rose Garden volunteers will beautifying the Gardens, weeding, mulching, pruning and composting.
NOTE: All projects are taking place rain or shine! Please wear sturdy shoes, bring a water bottle and garden gloves. And a rain coat if needed!
