10k Ways to Save a Baby

Tuesday, November 29 2016

Our goal is to process 10k ounces of milk every week during The Giving Season. Last year, our volunteers helped us process 10k ounces of milk over the entire season.

Our bank has been growing exponentially to meet the needs of Florida's growing demand for safe pasteurized donor human milk. We will supply this milk to medically fragile and premature babies in Florida’s neonatal intensive care units.

We are looking for volunteers to come in for a 3 hour shift any weekday from November 28th to December 23rd. No prior lab experience is necessary. Volunteers are always welcome to sign up for multiple shifts throughout the weeks. They will be working in our degloving lab and preparation room to prepare life-saving mothers' milk for tiny babies before it is pasteurized.
