St. John Neumann Catholic School Family Commitment Program

Welcome to our 2023-2024 Family Commitment Program. Your annual commitment of 30 (1/2 for single parent households by category) SJNCS Proactive Parent Points is broken down into the following components by points (hours).

• 2 pts. Attend two PPW (Proactive Parent Workshops) 1 per family per workshop
• 3 pts. Volunteer hours Swine and Dine
• 5 pts. Volunteer hours 5k Family Fun Day
• 5 pts. Volunteer hours Fishing Tournament/ Hook Rock & Dock Party
• 2 pts. Attend two parish offerings (Live in the Faith offering ) 1 per family per offering
• 13 pts. GC (General Council) service hours include donations and volunteering
-* Service in the parish is capped at 6 hours per year each as part of the remaining points (Liturgical and Sunday Experience Ministry)

**Fundraiser points earned in excess of the required amount for those events will be applied to GC service points.
**Each family is responsible for completing a minimum of 30 Family Commitment points for each school year (15 for each single-parent household). Points are per year and do not carry over to the next year.
** Parents may log in their points earned for donations and services multiple times as per their different assigned time and value.
**Only items listed in Track it Forward are eligible for service point accruement.

IN ORDER FOR YOUR EVENT, PARISH LIFE, PPW OR VOLUNTEER PARTICIPATION SUBMISSION TO COUNT, ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A SELFIE AT THE EVENT AND A GPS CHECK-IN THROUGH THE MOBILE APP. IF THE SUBMISSION IS FOR A DONATION, THEN A PICTURE OF THE ITEMS DONATED MUST BE INCLUDED. THESE ARE THE ONLY POINTS SUBMISSIONS THAT WILL BE APPROVED.
