Section 4 Trailwork Saturday

We will be working between Laurel Run Trailhead and the Graham Shelter this weekend. We will be Blazing, brushing, and sawing blowdowns.
Camping will be provided at Lake Sherwood Group Campsite. Showers will be available. Dinner Saturday and a quick breakfast Sunday will be provided. You are welcome to bring a side dish or dessert if you want. Please bring a lunch and water for each day on trail.
All required PPE will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Long pants and closed toe shoes are required to participate.
An email will be sent out at least 3 days prior to the event with details on where/when to meet.
Driving trail crews to work locations - Difficulty: Easy
Nailing plastic 2x6 blazes to trees to mark trail - Difficulty Easy
Must be chainsaw certified by forest service - Difficulty Moderate/Strenuous
Assist the Sawyer as they cut out blowdowns with a chainsaw - Difficulty Moderate/Strenuous
Assist with breakfast and dinner and keep an eye on camp during day - Difficulty Easy
