We’re looking for volunteers to support our upcoming Pet Travel Prep (PTP) event on April 16 (16:00–18:00) at the 205 Housing Complex (Bldg. 303C).
Help us assist service members and families preparing to travel with their pets by keeping the event organized, welcoming, and stress-free!
No experience needed just be reliable, organized, and comfortable around animals.
Make a difference and help pets travel safely with their families!

Check IDs and required documentation
Direct attendees to appropriate stations
Guide participants through the process
Help manage waiting areas and flow
Assist with pets if needed
Pre-check paperwork before ASP review
Help owners organize required documents
Flag missing items early
Confirm vaccine prepayment
Organize vaccination queue
Track pets needing vaccines
Communicate between SAWS and ASP staff
Call next appointments
Help keep event on schedule
Fill gaps across teams
Cover breaks
Assist during peak times
Capture event highlights (photos/videos)
Ensure consent and privacy compliance
Provide content for post-event promotion
