Every pet deserves to be safe, registered, and reunited with their family if they ever get lost. By volunteering at our SAWS Pet Registration Event, you’ll play a direct role in helping pets in our community get officially registered in the Italian Pet Registry a simple act that can make a life changing difference. Whether you’re an experienced volunteer or joining us for the first time, your time and kindness truly matter. By supporting pet owners through the registration process, you help protect animals, strengthen our community, and ensure more happy reunions while also earning official volunteer hours for your service. Together, we can make this important event welcoming, efficient, and impactful for every pet and every family who attends.
Handle cash transactions and accurately record issued receipts.
Ensure all required paperwork is complete and assist at the registration booth.
Scan pets’ microchips and verify the numbers against official documents.
Take photos of our animal participants and event highlights for SAWS social media.
