Mardi Gras Auction Basket Donations - Mrs. Ashton's Class
Please have your donations in by December 15, 2025.
All hours spent soliciting donations count toward your family's Volunteer Hour requirement. To earn down your Mardi Gras Fundraising Contribution, please solicit sponsors or purchase/sell raffle tickets.
Donations can be dropped off at the school in the baskets in the reading corner or labeled and handed to a staff member at dropp off/pick up.
These baskets play a huge role in the success of our silent auction each year, and your support truly makes all the difference.
Each classrooom is responsible for three themed baskets, but you do NOT need to be in that classroom to donate to any of them. Check out other baskets needed in the red colored sign ups here: https://www.trackitforward.com/site/85338/events
Ideas:
-Cricut Joy or Cricut Explore Air 2 (mini version is perfect for baskets)
-Yarn bundle – 8–12 skeins of soft, trendy yarn
-Set of high-quality crochet hooks or ergonomic knitting needles (with case)
-Adult coloring book bundle + 48–72 pack Prismacolor or Faber-Castell colored pencils
-Beginner embroidery kit (hoop, floss, needles, patterns) + 2–3 extra embroidery pattern packs
-Scrapbooking paper pad stack (12x12, coordinating collections)
-High-end marker set – -Tombow dual brush pens (20–30 pack) or Copic Ciao markers
-Calligraphy starter set (pen holder, nibs, ink, practice book)
-Jewelry-making kit – beads, findings, pliers, wire, and a few project cards
Ideas:
-Cloth napkin set (6–12) in a pretty color or pattern + napkin rings
-Large serving platter or charcuterie board
-Serving bowl or salad bowl with servers
-Salt & pepper cellar or grinder set
-Stylish placemats (set of 4–6) or a table runner
Ideas:
-High-quality olive oil (in a pretty bottle) + balsamic vinegar set
-Gourmet pasta (2–3 varieties) + artisanal pasta sauce or pesto
-Truffle oil or truffle salt
-Spice blend gift set (e.g., Italian herbs, garlic & herb, smoked paprika)
-Fancy sea salt or Himalayan pink salt in a grinder
-Local honey or infused honey
-Gourmet crackers and a wedge of aged cheddar or brie
-Dark chocolate bar assortment or chocolate-covered almonds
