Committee signups are posted on Track It Forward. Committees help distribute the responsibility for important, recurring tasks. By serving on a committee, parents can choose a consistent role for the season while also making sure the band has reliable behind-the-scenes support.When you join a committee, the Committee Lead (or the Exec Board Liaison) will reach out to learn how you’d like to help, match tasks to your strengths and schedule, and answer any questions.No one is expected to do everything! We share the load and help where we can—every bit makes a difference.

Branch Classic Planning Committee

Aside from concessions, the Branch Classic marching competition is our single largest fundraiser.

What we do: Support the Event Coordinator with key planning work ahead of time, and serve as on-site leads the day of the event—helping keep things running smoothly and welcoming visiting bands and volunteers.

Lead roles needed:

Medical Lead – Ensures adequate medical staff and supplies in two first-aid tents.

Volunteer Lead – Coordinates volunteers before and during the event.

Hospitality Lead – Plans, preps, and leads food service for visiting band staff, bus drivers, and judges.

Pavilion Lead – Coordinates all activities in the pavilion (top of stadium), including ticketing, vendors, concessions, and security.

Equipment Field Lead – Plans and runs an efficient entry/exit flow at the field gate; works closely with the Band Director during the event.

Bus/Equipment Parking Lead – Plans and runs parking for visiting band buses and equipment trailers.

Spectator Parking/Shuttle Lead – Helps plan spectator parking and oversees parking lots during the event.Custodial Lead – Plans and coordinates volunteers to keep trash emptied and the premises clean throughout the event.
