Help prepare the glazed popcorn for the event. Volunteers will follow food safety protocols to pop, and package candied popcorn for the Safety City Halloween Event. Glazed popcorn is one of our fundraising items at the event and must be prepared and bagged in advance of the event.
Volunteers must:
Wear clean clothes and closed toe shoes
Have hair tied back and under control

Volunteers are asked to take the free Alberta Food Safety Basics online course if they do not already hold a food safety certificate. Any volunteers taking this online class to volunteer for popcorn or cotton candy can let Cindy know and GPASC will add your time spent to your volunteer hours timesheet.
