BCMC work party at Tahuya, Saturday 11/8/25

Saturday, November 08 2025

Bremerton Cruisers Motorcycle Club is hosting a work party at Tahuya focused on brushing out some trails.

Meet in the parking area at the intersection of Befair-Tahuya Rd and Elfendahl Pass Rd at 9:00 am. The group will leave to drive to the work area promptly 9:20. We will be traveling on dirt roads to get to the worksite. We try to be back to our vehicles by 1:00 PM and heading towards home.

This will be a walking work party (no motorcycles needed). We will be removing overgrown brush from trails using a mix of power tools (Stihl weed wackers and hedge trimmers) and hand tools (loppers and rakes). We have some harnesses for the powertools and can provide hearing protection. Volunteers need to bring work gloves and it is a good idea to have a small pack of some kind to carry water, snacks, and extra fuel if needed (the club can provide small fuel bottles). Drinking water will be provided if needed.

Kids are welcome, but must be accompanied by their parents.

Ken Schroeder is the club contact (bcmcmember@gmail.com) for this work party.

BCMC work parties happen rain or shine. The only weather that stops us is high winds or extreme cold (like in January). Any weather cancellations will be announced by 7 PM the night before the work party is to take place based on the latest forecast.

9:00am - 1:30pm
