Make a Difference Day in Bidwell Park! Saturday, October 22nd, 9 am to noon. volunteers will meet at the Chico Creek Nature Center, 1968 E. 8th street. Additional parking is located at Cedar Grove, 1890 E. 8th street. The focus will be the removal of the fencing from around the old deer pens. Closed-toe shoes required, long pants recommended. Tools provided. Please bring gloves if possible, otherwise provided. Your RSVP to this event acknowledges that you have read, understand and agree to the terms as described in the attached City of Chico release of liability. In the event the participant is under 18 years of age, please print & complete the attached volunteer application & return to Shane Romain, Park Services Coordinator shane.romain@chicoca.gov or 530-896-7831.
