Deliver learning kits and Vroman’s books to Families In Transition. Each route should take about 2 hours. Volunteers must be strong enough to pick up bags and books. Items will be left at the families’ front doors. Proof of insurance and a completed PEF Volunteer Personal auto use release is required.

You'll meet a member of PEF Staff at the Pasadena Educational Foundation office.

Park in the lot off of Del Mar. Enter through the door to the right of the lot - closest to Del Mar. You'll see a ramp leading up to the door.

Load items in your car.
Follow the route provided by PEF.
Drop items at the front door & ring the door bell!
Adhere to safe driving rules at all times.

Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
Be a strong driver! Adhere to normal safe driving rules. Absolutely no texting and driving.
No previous back injuries. Be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
Have a clean car – we want to make sure our deliveries are kept clean for our families!
This is the perfect volunteer opportunity for a two person/family team.*
