Woodlot Planting/Restoration Events
THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW ORLEANS
Help us continue our efforts to provide expanded habitat for
migrating birds at UNO! We will plant bird-friendly native trees and
shrubs in the Fine Arts Woodlot.

SATURDAY, October 29, 2022--9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Maintenance
Day (November 12, back-up date)
SATURDAY, December 3, 2022-9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Planting
SATURDAY, January 28, 2023--9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Planting
Please bring water, snacks, gloves, pointy tipped shovel (if you can), and
wear long pants, close-toed shoes, and socks.
Directions: From Leon C. Simon, enter campus and proceed to the corner
of Founders Road and Levee Road. Parking will be available in the gravel
lots surrounding the woodlot.
