Wild Bird Rescue and Rehabilitation

Located in Livingston, Wings of Hope is a state and federally licensed wildlife care facility in the metropolitan Baton Rouge area where wildlife from all of southeast Louisiana receive dedicated round-the-clock care. Wings of Hope also accepts animals from the Wildlife Hospital at Louisiana State University that have received medical treatment. These animals are conditioned by Wings of Hope before they are returned to the wild. Director, Leslie Lattimore, teaches wildlife rehabilitation workshops for the state and will give us an introduction to wild bird rescue.
Free. Participants must register in advance. To register, send an email request to: OrleansAudubon@aol.com with “Wild Bird Rehab” as the subject line and include your full name in the body of the email message. If participating by phone, also include your phone number. Please register as soon as possible and at least two hours prior to the start of the meeting.
