Hello everyone!
It's that time of year for our annual bat program, Creatures of the Night: Bats of Barataria!
Join us at the Education Center on November 1st, 6:00-8:00pm for a bat talk and Q&A given by park rangers and Dr. Craig Hood of Loyola University. Additionally, we will be bat-spotting along Bayou des Familles bridge using echolocation equipment, and will have bat crafts for the little ones.
All ages are invited! The event is FREE, but space is limited, so please make sure to RSVP.
For more information, or to RSVP, contact Emme (emily_elliott@partner.nps.gov) or the Barataria Preserve Visitor's Center (504-689-3690, ex 10).
