Registration for the 2019 LMNA Rendezvous will open the third week of January. There are 100 spots available this year. The first two weeks of registration will be reserved for members, and then after that, registration will open up to spouses and children over the age of 18.

Rendezvous is the annual conference for all Louisiana Master Naturalists and will be on March 15 -17, 2019 at Fontainebleau State Park. All LMNGBR members, including the Spring 2019 class, are encouraged to attend. It is a fun, informative weekend and a great way to meet Master Naturalists from all of the other chapters in the state.

The registration includes the conference, food, and a bunk bed in Group Camp #1. There will be plenty of continuing education and volunteer opportunities.

There is a keynote speaker on Saturday night. Throughout the weekend there will be continuing education presentations, day and night walks with experts, and a BioBlitz on iNaturalist.

There will also be a book fair, a swap table for gently used naturalist items and books, an ID table for any hard-to-identify things you have wondered about, a silent auction, and a photography contest.

Our chapter is responsible for the food this year, so if you could sign up for a volunteer shift to help the Kitchen Committee, we would greatly appreciate it! The volunteer sign up information will be included in the registration information.

Don't forget to bring your reusable plate, cup and silverware - this will be a waste-free event!
