LMNGBR Field Trip: Natural History of Bluebonnet Swamp

Join us for a natural history walk through Bluebonnet Swamp, led by John Hartgerink, nature photographer and volunteer at the Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center. We'll get early-morning private access to the facility for one full hour, and will continue the excursion until lunch.

There is a $3 admission fee.

What - Natural History of Bluebonnet Swamp

When - Saturday, February 23, 8 am to Noon

Where - Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center, 10503 N Oak Hills Pkwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70810. We'll gather in the parking lot and enter as a group. We have permission to enter at 8 am, one hour before it opens to the public.

Who - John Hartgerink, nature photographer and volunteer at the Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center. John has spent years in the swamp photographing and documenting the flora and fauna and has seen some amazing things.

Meet us there - there is no carpool for this field trip.
